Citala’s proprietary technology enables the creation of two basic types of components, flexible displays and optical shutters, used in a variety of products across a wide range of industries: 

Citala's flexible displays add value to end products by breaking the design constraints of rigid, glass-based displays. They are thin, flexible, and lightweight with low power consumption, exceptional sunlight readability, and they've been used in a variety of end-products, including cellular phones, handheld devices, keypads, sports equipment, and more.

Citala offers flexible displays, drivers, and microprocessors for smart cards.	Citala manufactures flexible and interactive displays for cellular phone keypads and other electronic devices, large and small.

Citala's optical shutters are windows that change from opaque to transparent with voltage. This feature has been applied to high-end appliances and architecture. Citala’s optical shutters have also been applied to ophthalmological, surgical, and athletic equipment.

Citala manufactures optical shutters, enabling windows to change from opaque to transparent at the flip of a switch.	Citala's optical shutters are based on OnyxTM proprietary technology.
